Job summary

Oaklawn is seeking a Silk’s Server to deliver exceptional, friendly service in our dining rooms. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel and casino environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, prior dining experience (casino preferred), and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and guest focus. This role emphasizes guest relations and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest service skills and be able to interact professionally with guests and teammates.
• Experience in fine dining or casino dining settings is preferred.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable, prompt, friendly service of food and beverages to dining guests.
• Maintain a friendly, professional image at the Hotel/Casino.
• Suggest items based on guest preferences and upsell accordingly.
• Operate and navigate the POS system to enter orders and present checks accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of service stations, tables, and dining areas.
