Job summary

The Sebastian Vail is seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join our bar team. You will craft cocktails, serve drinks, and ensure guests have a memorable experience at our bar.

The ideal candidate has bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment, knowledge of mixology, and strong communication. Must be 21+ with a valid bartender license where required, and available on weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old with valid bartender license or certification where required.
• Experience in high-volume or upscale environments.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage trends.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to our recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, including greeting customers, taking drink orders, and engaging in friendly conversation.
• Stay informed about our drink menu, including seasonal offerings and promotional items, to provide recommendations to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, assist with ordering and restocking as necessary, and track drink ingredients and supplies.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor regulations, ensuring that all practices comply with local and state laws.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless service and support during peak times.
