Cunningham Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced bartender for our Fort Wayne location. You will craft cocktails, pour wines and beers, greet guests, and provide memorable service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining bar inventory, staying current on drink trends, and ensuring accuracy in cash handling and POS transactions. This role emphasizes teamwork and high standards of customer care in an upscale setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Previous bartending experience in an upscale restaurant is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.

Responsibilities

• Beverage preparation: prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
• Customer service: greet guests warmly and assist in selecting beverages; handle inquiries with courtesy.
• Beverage knowledge: understand menu ingredients, flavors and pairings; stay updated on trends.
• Inventory management: monitor liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware; keep stock within budget.
• Cleanliness and organization: maintain a clean bar area; follow sanitation and safety guidelines; process payments and reconcile sales.
• Cash handling: operate cash register and give change; ensure accurate transactions.
• Teamwork: collaborate with servers and kitchen staff; train junior bartenders when needed.
