Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking a professional Restaurant Bartender to serve Neiman Marcus customers with warmth and precision, in a fast-paced luxury setting. The role emphasizes detailed knowledge of menu items, beverage offerings, and accurate POS handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Motivated and results-driven.
• Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings (china, glass, flatware) and food/beverage.
• Thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology.
• Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Win together mentality.
• Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serves and interacts with customers in a professional and gracious manner.
• Provides detailed information about menu items using knowledge of food terminology.
• Supports smooth delivery of bar items through POS/ticket systems.
• Leverages knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and service procedures.
• Participates in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions and POS use.
• Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation per schedule.
