Job summary

Service Little Rock is seeking an experienced Cook to ensure the highest quality of culinary services for Members and guests. You will support a la carte and private events, maintain consistent food preparation and presentation, and uphold a clean, safe kitchen throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate has prior cook experience, Serve Safe certification, and a solid understanding of sanitation. Strong English communication and a team-oriented mindset are essential to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook required.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operation in upscale environments.
• Serve Safe certification is required
• Understanding of sanitation practices

Responsibilities

• Cook hot and cold items for a la carte and banquet events.
• Prepare and portion food according to specifications and sanitary standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including walk-in freezers and storage areas.
• Assist in receiving and storage of food and supplies as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef on menus and supplies.
• Break down workstation and secure areas at shift end.
