The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Master's preferred), three years of upper school teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in Life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science; Master's preferred.
• Three years of experience teaching upper school, preferably in independent schools.
• Demonstrated expertise in Life Science and Forensic Science.
• Proficient in current pedagogical theory and practice; eager to continue learning.
• High level of competence using technology.
• Strong references to convey teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Duchesne's excellent science education program.
• Implement lesson plans and assessment tools.
• Collaborate with science faculty to design Biology and Forensic Science curricula.
• Maintain accurate student records (attendance, grades, etc.).
• Learn and leverage technology in instruction.
• Supervise students in various settings.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
