Job summary

Methuen Public School District seeks a dedicated middle school science teacher to deliver engaging science and math instruction and to support student achievement within the district curriculum.

Preference is given to candidates with Massachusetts certification, SEI endorsement, and a Master’s degree; exceptional preparation or experience may substitute for some qualifications. This is a full-time position under the current Unit A agreement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Massachusetts science teacher preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent teaching skills in science and math.
• Strong background in middle school education.
• Must have SEI endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Implement the mathematics/science curriculum of the Methuen Public Schools and to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned under current agreement.

Job description

Salary Range – $60,253 – $113,226 pro-rated

4. Evidence of excellent background and knowledge in the area of middle school education
5. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
6. Must have SEI endorsement
