Mount Vernon School in Atlanta seeks an experienced and adaptable Upper School mathematics educator to serve as a Long-Term Math Substitute for the 2026-27 school year.
This is a full-time, temporary position covering the full teaching load and faculty responsibilities of a math team member on leave. The substitute reports to the Head of Upper School and works closely with the math team to carry forward curriculum and assessment plans.

Mount Vernon School seeks an experienced and adaptable Upper School mathematics educator to serve as a Long-Term Math Substitute during the 2026 - 27 school year. This is a full-time, temporary position covering the full teaching load and faculty responsibilities of a math team member on leave. The Long-Term Math Substitute reports to the Head of Upper School and partners closely with the math team to carry forward the curriculum, assessment plan, and student relationships already in motion. Versatility, collaboration, and openness to innovative instructional practices are essential. Availability to sponsor athletic, artistic, or academic teams/clubs is preferred.
