Berman Hebrew Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing History teacher to start the 2026-2027 school year. The Ideal Candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree in history or related field
• Teaching certification and / or master’s degree strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years high school classroom teaching experience
• The ability to teach a variety of History & Social Studies topics and with a student population of varying ability levels is required.
• A desire to work with Upper School students in a supportive college-preparatory environment.
• Basic computer literacy as well as strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 – $85,000, based on experience and qualifications. This range is our best estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined at the time of the offer.
