Qualifications

• Have experience teaching students in grades 9-12 using best pedagogical practices.
• Hold a degree in Dance, a related field of study or possess significant studio and professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Daytime Teaching, 8:20 am - 3:00 pm.
• Teach/lead one course, Dance Technique and Composition (Upper School).
• Co-teach one course, Musical Theater (Upper School).
• Perform administrative responsibilities as the Belfry and Performing Arts Associate, including rehearsal schedules, ticketing, as needed MS/US Choir support and Front of House management.
• After-School Commitments, 3:00-6:30 pm (flexible).
• Attend musical auditions and lead a dance audition.
• Lead dance rehearsals for the US Belfry Musical on scheduled days.
• Attend a few weekend rehearsals/run throughs.
• Be present for all tech rehearsals 3:00-7:30pm (March 1st -March 11th) + shows (March 12th-March 14th).
