Job summary

Sacred Heart Greenwich seeks a Dance Teacher to cover a maternity leave from February through March 2026. The role spans K-12, with responsibilities across Lower, Middle, and Upper School under the Performing Arts Chair.

We value a versatile educator who can teach Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Contemporary, and who can choreograph for the Spring Musical while coordinating with the Music Department. This temporary contract offers growth and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching students across the full age range of K-12.
• Proficiency in multiple dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Contemporary.
• Liturgical Dance knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach across K‑12 with engaging, age-appropriate methodology.
• Choreograph dances for the Spring Musical and coordinate with the Music Teacher.
• Prepare two pieces for the Spring Concert and accompany a dance‑centered field trip.
