Job summary

Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT seeks an experienced Baseball Coach to partner with Athletics & Physical Education staff. The role is a seasonal, part-time position focused on developing student-athletes, establishing team culture, and maintaining high standards of play and conduct.

The ideal candidate has successful youth baseball coaching experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to align work with GFA’s mission and core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Thoughtful development of a team culture that empowers student-athletes and promotes discipline, joy, and aspiration to accomplish goals.
• Develop and execute organized practices and skill-development sessions for student-athletes.
• Instruct student-athletes to execute in-game strategies and techniques at high levels.
• Promote players for local, state, and national recognition, and to colleges as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics & Physical Education.
