Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
• Teaching certification is preferred.
• 3-5 years of classroom experience.
• Demonstrated content mastery in math: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry; familiarity with OUR Math Curriculum.
• Passion for Next Generation learning and engaging students.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to igniting curiosity and making learning fun and challenging.
• Proficient use of computer software and Google Suite; familiarity with LMS.
• Consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to meet physical demands of classroom duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging math instruction aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Lead LiFE (Leadership, Finance, Entrepreneurship) coaching within lessons.
• Plan and prepare lessons, adapt for diverse learners and culturally responsive instruction.
• Foster positive partnerships with students, families, and staff.
• Reflect on teaching practices and pursue professional growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote school programs and community involvement.
