Job summary

Össur is seeking a Prosthetics Technician to focus on fabricating upper limb externally powered prostheses. This role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of experience. Responsibilities include fabricating, testing prosthetic devices, and educating customers at clinical trainings.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years as an Orthotics and/or Prosthetics Technician, or equivalent experience.
• Self-motivated and dependable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as a team member.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates prosthetic devices following established work instructions.
• Performs tasks such as plaster modifications and device testing.
• Educates customers attending onsite clinical academy trainings.
• Maintains and cleans the production area.
