Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. is seeking a Prekindergarten Teacher Assistant Substitute to support Head Start classrooms in Hyde Park under the UPK program.

You will assist qualified teaching staff with early childhood lessons, behavior guidance, and daily routines to promote social, emotional, and academic growth. The role requires teamwork with teachers and families, adherence to federal and state regulations, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA or ECE certificate/lead teacher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide substitute teaching support in Head Start classrooms.
