Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking an upholsterer to perform a wide range of upholstery functions in a manufacturing setting. You will measure, fit, staple, glue, repair and bind materials to create furniture using hand and power tools and fabric knowledge.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read drawings, and proficiency with sewing machines. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy pieces as part of production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Attach bindings, fasteners, and other accessories to covers or frames.
• Build upholstery covers and assemble furniture using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut and sew fabrics per patterns and blueprints.
• Read work orders and determine materials required for each piece.
• Inspect frames, springs, and upholstery for defects and quality.
