Job summary

Lippert is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to help fabricate and repair furniture components for our manufacturing environment.

In this role you will measure, cut, stitch, and apply fabrics using hand and power tools, aligning with quality standards. You will discuss fabrics with customers, read blueprints, and contribute to a fast-paced, indoor shop setting focused on durable, high-quality products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Read tape measure and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Attach bindings, fasteners, and trim to upholstery covers.
• Design and cut upholstery patterns based on sketches.
• Operate sewing machines or hand sew coverings.
• Inspect furniture frames and springs for defects.
• Measure, cut, and fit covering materials to pieces.
• Maintain records of time required to perform jobs.
