Job summary

RHF is seeking an Upholstery Product Analyst & Coordinator in Hickory, NC, to drive new product development and support launches throughout the product life cycle. The role collaborates with the Upholstery Plant, Product Development, IT/BIS, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities include organizing projects, coordinating product development, presenting ideas to merchandising, and managing vendor reviews.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in project coordination.
• Ability and willingness to present products to varied groups at Sales trainings.
• Knowledge of current marketplace/product trends and best practices.
• Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
• AutoCAD or Rhino experience is a must.
• Ability to sketch and/or render new designs preferable.
• Ability to analyze merchandising reports and survey results.
• Ability to complete repetitive and detailed work for long periods.
• Must be willing to travel domestically as well as internationally.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain materials and product development projects on the PDweb tool.
• Coordinate the development of new upholstery products.
• Prepare, revise, and present product ideas to the merchandising team.
• Work closely with vendor to review models for accuracy.
• Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends.
• Monitor costs and work within budget.
• Partner with Marketing to create and proof marketing materials and support materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and source materials.
• Create and maintain relationships with customers and sales reps.
• Act in alignment with the company's overall culture, products, image, and target market.
