Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking an Upholstery Sewer to join our team. This role fabricates, repairs, and restores furniture, cushions, and other upholstered products using vinyl, leather, and fabric to meet our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will follow design patterns, sew vinyl and fabrics, layout patterns, maintain a clean, organized work area, and document production steps. Prior upholstery experience is strongly preferred, with a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Sewing experience with textiles including vinyl, leather and fabric preferred.
• Ability to build defect-free products that meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Layout and cut vinyl fabric.
• Sew vinyl and miscellaneous fabrics.
• Help design sewing patterns.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Utilize Kanban system to restock depleted materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
