Job summary

VSR Industries, based in Henderson, NV, is seeking an upholsterer to repair, recover, and maintain felt, padding, armrest, and seating for gaming tables such as poker, blackjack, and roulette according to customer requirements.

The role involves installing foam, stitching textiles, stretching coverings, and using hand and power tools. It requires 1–3 years of upholstery experience and a ability to pass background checks. This is a full-time, day-shift position in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional upholstery or furniture repair experience.
• 1-3 years of use of upholstery tools including hot knives, nail guns, and sewing equipment.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug screen, and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Install high-density foam, batting, and support webbing.
• Measure, cut, and stitch custom heavy-duty textiles or synthetic leather.
• Stretch out and install fabric or leather coverings.
• Attach bindings or apply solutions to edges of cut material to prevent raveling.
• Stitch, glue, and nail fabric into place.
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete projects within scheduled timelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of professional upholstery or furniture repair experience.
• 1-3 years of use of upholstery tools including hot knives, nail guns, and sewing equipment.
• Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects.
• Will be exposed to dust, fumes, and other materials.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods of time.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check, drug screen, and credit check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
