Job summary

Safe Fleet’s Arlington, Texas facility seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the Upfitting team on the production floor, directing daily activities to ensure vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This hands-on role emphasizes coaching, problem solving, and maintaining high team morale.

You will coordinate workflow, manage resources, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in automotive/manufacturing.
• Direct hands-on vehicle upfitting experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership with accountability and team building.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Upfitting team to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production targets.
• Monitor production activities and identify obstacles that affect schedules, productivity, or quality.
• Coach, develop, and train team members while managing performance.
• Coordinate production planning, scheduling, and resource assignments.
• Maintain records on production, attendance, and personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Partner with Scheduling, Material Handling, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
