Job summary

Gold Adam, Inc. seeks a proactive Vehicle Upfit Manager to lead end-to-end fleet vehicle upfit operations from planning through installation and deployment. The role requires hands-on leadership, developing a scalable upfit operation, budgets, vendor relationships, and SOPs to drive efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include directing shop daily operations, establishing production targets, and creating facility layouts, workflows, and performance metrics to scale the program effectively.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience managing vehicle upfitting operations.
• Proven leadership of a vehicle upfit shop or fleet upfit operation.
• Experience building an upfit shop from the ground up (layout, budgets).
• Experience with facility layouts, budgets, equipment, and processes.
• Experience negotiating vendor terms and managing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end fleet vehicle upfit process from planning to vehicle release.
• Develop and manage the operating model for upfit operations.
• Lead daily shop operations and set production targets.
• Establish quality-control standards and inspection processes.
• Develop facility layouts, floorplans, and workflows.
• Develop SOPs and manage supplier relationships.
