Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates Two Lane Modern Filler and related production tasks.
• Maintains machine speeds as posted for size and efficiency.
• Hits targets to increase output while ensuring quality.
• Checks codes and labels for accuracy.
• Documents production data clearly and accurately.
• Keeps supervisors informed of mechanical issues.
• Monitors product quality and maintains specifications.
• Assists in minimizing losses of packaging materials.
• Performs equipment inspections before/during production and reports deficiencies.
• Completes QA checks and documentation accurately.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Uses sanitation chemicals as required.
• Communicates professionally within the Culture department.
• Completes PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned.
• Follows GMPs and safety practices.
• Supports coworkers on other machines as needed.
• Other duties assigned by leads/supervisors/managers

Job description

Darigold is seeking to fill a UP Milk Cooler Operator position at our Boise facility. UP Milk Cooler Production workers must be motivated and desire to be members of a self-activating team that works safely and drives quality on the production line. The ideal candidates for this role excel in a fast paced, rigorous environment and thrive in a team-based work setting.

What You Will Do

• Operates Two Lane Modern Filler and jobs associated with production. (Y tank CIPs, Setup)
• Ensure the machine runs at posted speeds for size and efficiency at all times
• Ability to hit targets, delivering increased output figures
• Check product to insure correct code date and label identification
• Documents all production data clearly and accurately
• Keep supervision and maintenance informed of any mechanical issues.
• Monitor and ensure product quality, and maintain the product in specifications
• Responsible for maintaining and assisting in minimizing losses of packaging materials and other materials used in this job function.
• Inspect the equipment prior to setting up for production, during production, during CIP and report possible mechanical deficiencies.
• Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work with required sanitation chemicals
• Ability to utilize professional methods of communication within the Culture department to create a positive environment
• Completes PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned
• Follows all procedures in the cleanup process including GMP’s
• Follow and comply with Safety and quality assurance practices
• Supports coworkers running other culture machines as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads/supervisors/managers

Education, Experience, and Certifications

• Food background preferred, specifically dairy
• Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas, within consumer products preferred
