Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a UI Engineering Lead to bring the UX vision to life by implementing responsive and stable UI systems in Unreal Engine 5. You will work with a fun, cross-disciplinary team to create a new franchise at teamLFG while mentoring engineers and guiding UI direction.

This flexible role can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. If based in Seattle, the base pay range is listed as $197,400 — $296,000 USD, and a bonus package may apply.

Qualifications

Write, debug, and maintain code in C++.
Experience leading engineers (direct management, mentoring, or guiding).
Experience building and maintaining UI/UX systems including HUDs, menus, fonts, and localization workflows.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain production-quality UI systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5.
Directly hire, manage and lead engineers within the UI subdiscipline; provide mentorship and career development.
Provide technical guidance in UX/UI systems to empower teammates across gameplay disciplines.
Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to build new player experiences.
