Blumhouse is seeking an Unreal Developer in Bend, OR to advance our hybrid engineering effort. You will ship features in Swift and TypeScript, mentor mid-level engineers, and help redesign legacy systems while balancing pragmatic delivery with technical debt reduction.

You bring 3+ years delivering in teams that operate across time zones, enjoy hands-on work with MongoDB and GitHub Actions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. The role offers a clear promotion ladder and paid family leave.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering in a hybrid structure.
• Self-directed with good judgment.
• Experience with modern TypeScript workflows and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Swift and MongoDB.

Responsabilités

• Champion engineering excellence and continuous learning within Blumhouse
• Enhance test automation frameworks to increase release confidence
• Walk technology stakeholders through TypeScript tradeoffs in language Blumhouse execs grasp
• Ship the Team Leadership tinker-friendly rewrite that pays down years of Blumhouse technical debt
• Mentor the mid-level cohort through their first real MongoDB on-call at Blumhouse
• Lead technical design reviews for mid-level technology initiatives
• Question the customer-obsessed Swift pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner
• Translate a napkin idea from Blumhouse founders into a MongoDB fast-paced prototype
