Job summary

DATASOURCE COMPUTER EMPLOYMENT LIMITED is seeking an Unreal Engine Technical Lead to manage real-time visualisation projects across Glasgow, Bristol, Surrey, London or Greater Manchester. Hybrid work pattern requires three days on site weekly and a senior, hands-on leader to drive immersive solutions.

You will mentor engineers, define standards, support business development and deliver VR and digital twin experiences at scale with a world-class team.

Qualifications

• Advanced Unreal Engine real-time development and Blueprint proficiency.
• Strong C++ skills for extending and optimising systems.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and capability development.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the real-time visualisation strategy across the Creative Design team.
• Lead Unreal Engine development for interactive, immersive and digital twin solutions.
• Establish technical standards, scalable workflows and best practice frameworks.
• Mentor team members and build technical capability across the discipline.
• Support project scoping, estimation, business development and work-winning activities.
• Manage OKRs, resource planning and succession for the team.
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging real-time technologies.
• Ensure consistent quality, performance and client satisfaction across deliveries.
