Be the captain of your career, come sail with us!http://www.GEOxyz.euapply now### In search of a highly skilled and innovative USV Engineer to join our Innovation DepartmentAs an USV Engineer you will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in hydrography and aquatic drone technology.Your responsibilities:* Develop and optimize electromechanical systems for aquatic drones used in hydrographic surveys.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and communication systems into drone platforms.* Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electromechanical systems with software components.* Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions.* Prepare comprehensive documentation for all design and development activities.* Maintain accurate records of design iterations, testing results, and improvements.* Ensure that all electromechanical systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.* Participate in certification processes and audits as necessary.### What do we expect from you?* You have min 5 years of relevant experience.* You have an engineering degree with preference to maritime industry or electrical/mechanical engineering.* You have proven experience in electromechanical design.* Knowledge of maritime environment or hydrographic survey techniques and equipment is a plus.* You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch.* Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time.* Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.* Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe.* Communication skills in reading and writing for creating documentation and reports.* Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions.* Ability to work well in a team and on your own.### What do we offer you?* A challenging position within a fast-growing environment.* A positive and collaborative working atmosphere within a dynamic team.* Competitive salary.* Opportunities for active growth within our organization.
