Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking a Unix Engineering/System Administration professional in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires an Active DoD Secret clearance and on-site work on a 9x80A schedule.

You will handle Solaris/Linux administration, automate tasks, manage storage/virtualization, and ensure cybersecurity compliance across the environment.

Qualifications

• Active Final DoD Secret security clearance is required.
• Must meet IAT Level II certification requirements (Security+, CASP, CAP, CISSP).
• Follow a 9x80A schedule and work 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily systems administration and help desk tasks for Solaris and Linux environments.
• Automate administration tasks using scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell).
• Manage file systems, storage, and virtualization (ZFS, UFS, VEEAM, PDOM/LDOM).
• Configure and integrate systems with Active Directory and LDAP.
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance through STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop and maintain documentation, perform COTS assessments, and troubleshoot issues.
• Design, integrate, and install system releases, and create/update design documents for systems engineering lifecycle.
