Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Aurora, CO to help design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on secure, scalable deployment pipelines. The role requires TS/SCI with Poly and U.S.

citizenship, plus 5+ years of related experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to automate configuration management, integrate security controls, and optimize performance across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in STEM and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud-based systems on AWS.
• Proficient with automation frameworks: Terraform, Ansible, Chef.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security+) or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly; US citizenship required for access.

Compensation Range: $130,000 – $150,000

Responsibilities

• Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure.
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across cloudbased computing environments.
• Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions.
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
• Provide operational support for the platform

Basic Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating Cloud based systems on infrastructure platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II requirements (Security + CE or equivalent)
• Active and current U.S. government TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)
• Experience with RedHat Linux Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
• Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify, Anchore)
• Infrastructure experience with computers, networks, storage, and virtualization
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google cloud
• Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework
• Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
