Job summary

OU Foundation is seeking a University Relations Specialist to support fund administration and education strategies for university partners, fundraisers and donors on the OU Health Campus. The role reports to the Director of Endowment Stewardship and University Relations and focuses on donor-centric engagement.

This on-site position in Norman, Oklahoma requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of administrative or research-related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time administrative or research-related work in an office environment required.
• Business, science, communications or research-related degree preferred, as well as experience with customer service, non-profits, endowments and university processes.
• Related experience in a university environment also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports fund administration and education strategies for university partners, fundraisers and donors on the OU Health Campus.
• Communicates new or evolving processes at the University of Oklahoma Foundation to the Director and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Endowment Stewardship and University Relations, the University Relations Specialist supports efforts in OU Foundation fund administration and education strategies for university partners, fundraisers and donors on the OU Health Campus. This professional works with the Director to better understand and communicate new or evolving processes at the University of Oklahoma Foundation. The specialist promotes a donor-centric culture with university partners that mutually benefits donors, the Foundation and OU.

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of full-time administrative or research-related work in an office environment required. Business, science, communications or research-related degree, as well as experience with customer service, non-profits, endowments and university processes, preferred. Related experience in a university environment also preferred.

This professional will deal with sensitive donor relations issues and manage highly confidential information.

Please note that this is an on-site role in Norman, Oklahoma.
This position is not eligible for remote work and is based in an open office setting.
