Job summary

The Hagerman Group in Fishers, IN is seeking a Talent Acquisition & University Relations Specialist to own our early-career strategy from campus handshake to first day.

You will build campus partnerships, run internships end-to-end, source and screen for internships/co-ops/entry-level roles, onboard new hires, and strengthen Hagerman's employer brand across social and recruiting tools.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent experience) and genuine interest in talent acquisition.
• Experience with ATS platforms or candidate management systems, or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Working knowledge of employment law and fair, compliant hiring practices.
• Curiosity about AI tools to work smarter.

Responsibilities

• Campus relationships that matter: be Hagerman's face on college campuses and build real partnerships with career services, faculty, and student groups.
• Run our internship program end to end: recruiting, onboarding, mentor matching, development activities, turning interns into full-time hires.
• Source, screen, and coordinate hiring for internship, co-op, and entry-level roles with a focus on candidate experience and compliant processes.
• Onboard new hires so day one is smooth, organized, and welcoming.
• Strengthen Hagerman's employer brand through social media and recruiting tools.
