Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education is required.
  • Minimum five years teaching and/or administrative experience.
  • Experience in urban and underserved schools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and document candidate performance against state standards.
  • Coordinate meetings with the clinical triad (student teacher, cooperating teacher, supervisor).
  • Provide timely verbal and written feedback to candidates.
  • Complete and submit required practicum paperwork and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with school site to align university curriculum with school philosophy.
  • Monitor candidate progress and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain communication with the Director of Field Placements.
  • Identify areas of concern and address them promptly.
  • Attend orientations and scheduled meetings.
