Job summary

Marquette University Counseling Center seeks a Counselor/Psychologist, Alcohol/Other Drug Professional to provide clinical services, crisis intervention, and screening for students. The clinician will lead coordination of substance use assessment and referrals, and participate in outreach and collaboration with campus departments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work.
• WI state licensure required or within 1 year of employment.
• Substance Use Certification or eligible within 1 year.
• Minimum of two years in mental health and substance use.
• Experience with culturally sensitive psychotherapy and crisis assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services (assessment, individual and group therapy) for MARQUETTE University students; crisis intervention.
• Develop and conduct AOD programming/outreach; establish referral networks and assess service gaps.
• Serve as primary consultant on AOD/co-occurring concerns; supervise practicum students when indicated.
• Collaborate with campus partners; participate in committees and trainings to support policy and practice.
