Job summary

MePA is seeking a Staff Psychologist to deliver direct clinical services to undergraduate and graduate students, including evaluation, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy. The role involves administering tests, creating treatment plans, and coordinating care within a university counseling center.

Responsibilities include developing psycho-educational workshops, collaborating with campus partners, and providing supervision and training to interns.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, or EdD in psychology from an APA‑approved program with an APA internship.
• Licensure or eligibility to practice psychology in Georgia by start date.
• Two years of experience evaluating and treating university‑age clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and couples psychotherapy to students with formal documentation.
• Administer and interpret assessments; develop treatment plans and coordinate care.
• Develop psycho-educational workshops and campus outreach programs.
• Attend continuing education for licensure maintenance and current practice trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
