Job summary

Greenway Automotive in Anniston, AL is seeking a reliable Service Line Technician to join our dealership team on an alternative Tuesday–Saturday schedule. ASE certification or an auto repair degree is encouraged, with at least two years of technician experience.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and testing vehicles, communicating with the Service Advisor, and performing warranty repairs per manufacturer specs. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or associate degree in auto maintenance and repair.
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of auto repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret data to maintain records.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs work on repair orders with dealership standards.
• Test-drives vehicles and uses diagnostic tools and equipment.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated automotive dealership Service Line Technician to join our team!

We are looking for the right technician to work an alternative Tuesday - Saturday schedule. Sunday and Monday OFF!

Technicians with an ASE certificate are highly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or a graduate from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair
• At least two years of experience as an automotive technician
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation
• Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Must have a valid driver's license
