Job summary

Tennessee Tech seeks an experienced University liaison and Owner's Representative to oversee capital maintenance and construction projects, interfacing with the Board of Trustees, general contractors, campus staff and design professionals.

The role includes budgeting, document development, code compliance, material specifications, and coordination of renovation efforts across TTU campuses. Requires strong PM background and knowledge of building standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 4+ years PM experience in commercial/educational projects.
• Associate degree with 6+ years PM experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of building envelope waterproofing, codes, materials, and life safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as University liaison and Owner's Representative for capital projects over $100k and maintenance over $250k.
• Review contractor pay applications for conformity to guidelines.
• Develop design/construction documents and coordinate with design professionals.
• Inspect workmanship and approve change orders.
• Prepare annual capital budget discussions with TTU leadership.
