Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of professional accounting experience including general ledger accounting, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and non-recurring journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger and balance sheet accounts and research discrepancies.
• Maintain account schedules and ensure transactions are recorded and supported.
• Participate in monthly and year-end close processes and meet deadlines.
• Assist with accruals, allocations, prepaid expenses, and other recurring activities.
• Maintain documentation supporting accounting transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare bank, cash and other balance sheet reconciliations and research reconciling items.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation calculations.
• Assist with audits, regulatory reporting and internal controls.
