Job Summary

The Universal Teller I position is responsible for conducting and processing various customer bank transactions while delivering the "IBC Experience." This includes providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service while adhering to bank policies. Tellers must maintain a balanced cash drawer and build customer relationships to identify products and services fitting the customer's banking needs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Process teller transactions for paying and receiving
  • Deliver the IBC Experience with prompt, friendly service
  • Balance and maintain cash drawer and perform end-of-day processes
  • Promote bank products and services through various channels
  • Meet sales performance goals and participate in referral programs
  • Participate in product and service initiatives for bank growth
  • Attend company meetings
  • Process foreign currency transactions
  • Follow procedures to minimize errors and losses
  • Assist with resolving customer transaction issues
  • Answer banking inquiries
  • Operate teller equipment
  • Assist with branch procedures including opening and closing
  • Contribute to on-the-job training
  • Be flexible to work at other branches as needed
  • Perform sales functions and other duties as assigned
