Job summary

Bright Horizons seeks an Universal Pre-K 3 Teacher to support classrooms across multiple centers, fostering safe, nurturing environments where 3- to 5-year-olds can grow and thrive. You will deliver developmentally appropriate activities and help children gain readiness for kindergarten.

You’ll engage families with regular updates, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with a team to provide high-quality early education. NYS requirements and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education is required.
• NYS Teaching Certification or a study plan eligibility is preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for 3–5 year olds is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
