Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Universal Pre-K Field Teacher to support classrooms across multiple centres in New York. You will deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum for 4- and 5-year-olds and communicate milestones to families.

The role requires state/background checks, a minimum education, and relevant certification, with ongoing opportunities in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment at Bright Horizons.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and company background checks.
• Must have 18+ years and a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
• Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is required.
• NYS Teaching Certification or study plan eligibility preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for 4- and 5-year-olds is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing child milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
