Job summary

Bright Horizons seeks a Universal Pre-K Field Teacher to support classrooms across multiple centers, creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where 4- and 5-year-olds can grow and thrive. You’ll help them build the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten and beyond.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 90 credits toward a bachelor’s in early childhood education, and a bachelor’s degree in early education or related field.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
• Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field.
• NYS Teaching Certification eligibility or study plan preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for 4- and 5-year-olds required.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
