Job summary

The Malvern School in Medford, OR is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten classroom. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday and offers a supportive environment focused on early childhood education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years old.
• 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
• Or 15 college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
