Job summary

The Malvern School Marlboro is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom in Marlboro, NJ. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a supporting role in delivering high-quality early childhood education.

You will help implement the school's philosophy, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate with families using in-person and digital updates. A high school diploma and childcare experience are required, with ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility

Responsibilities

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
