Job summary

The Malvern School of Medford is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Universal Pre-Kindergarten classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, supporting a high-quality Early Childhood Education program.

You will help implement curriculum, maintain a safe and engaging classroom, and communicate regularly with parents, including via technology, to meet or exceed expectations and uphold our child-centered philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility

Responsibilities

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
