To perform various functions internally to protect the assets of the credit union and make recommendations for continual process improvement to continually improve the member experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Be able to perform the following:
    • Loan escrow functions
    • Lien perfections
    • Process Collateral Protection Insurance premiums, claims and refunds
    • Debt Cancellation program claims
    • Loan modifications
    • Real estate loan disbursals
    • Mortgage Post Closing Functions
    • Order and evaluate residential appraisals
  • Develop an understanding and working knowledge of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, policies, procedures and appropriate software systems. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience (3) One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Education (3) (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
  • Interpersonal Skills (4) Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
