Job summary

First Mid Bank & Trust in St. Peters, MO is seeking a Full Time Universal Banker/Teller I. You will provide quality service, handle transactions accurately, and open accounts while promoting customer relationships.

The role offers base pay $17.50–$19.62 per hour with eligibility for incentives and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Successfully completes required compliance training to be proficient in basic account opening processes.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Proficiently service customers by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, cashier's checks, and other transactions within policy guidelines.
• Open accounts including checking, savings, safe deposit boxes, and basic business accounts.
• Maintain cash drawer with daily balancing and assist with branch duties.
• Proactively seek ways to improve processes to enhance customer experience.
