Job Description

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-train to support sales and service activities, focusing on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Client Experience: Ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with courtesy, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Handle complex transactions with assistance as needed.
  2. Client Education: Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions such as ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support Sales: Participate in client outreach through outbound calls, identify client needs, and refer clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. IRM Understanding: Comprehend the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  5. Leadership Routines: Fully participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Knowledge Advancement: Attend training and meetings to enhance product and service knowledge.
  7. Compliance: Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Client Support: Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, managing work volume based on branch demands.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC and branch automation software
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Basic computer application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to travel for staffing needs, including temporary or locale changes
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours, with occasional travel and overnights
Preferred:
  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions and risk management
  • Experience in sourcing and prospecting new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
