Job description

Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with courtesy, facilitating transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as needed.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their experience.
  3. Support sales by participating in outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members.
  4. Understand and support the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  6. Enhance individual and product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services accordingly.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling/client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC and branch automation software
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends or extended hours as needed

Preferred:

  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
