We are currently seeking experienced Universal Bankers for our Pelham Bay Branch. Join our winning team!

Summary

Perform duties to serve existing and potential customers efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include opening accounts, explaining and processing investments and financial services, and maintaining accurate records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interview customers to gather information and explain financial services such as savings and checking accounts, IRAs, CDs, bonds, and securities.
• Record customer information on forms and enter data into the computer.
• Assist customers with questions, investigate, and correct errors in records.
• Present funds from customers to tellers for deposit and provide receipts.
• Obtain records from fraud reporting agencies.
• Contact customers regarding overdrafts and transactions as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and outside contacts.
• Handle all teller operations, including collections, savings, demand deposits, and loan payments.
• Verify and process checks and cash for deposits and withdrawals.
• Record transactions in the computer and issue receipts.
• Order and count cash supplies, balance cash drawers, and manage ATM and night depository transactions.

Qualifications

Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Education and experience include an associate's degree or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training.
