Job summary

Northrim Bank in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Universal Banker to provide exceptional customer service, open accounts, answer questions, and uncover solutions that help clients meet their financial goals. This is a full-time, on-site role across Universal Banker I, II, or III levels.

Ideal candidates bring cash-handling or retail experience, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset. Training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in cash-handling, retail, or hospitality (Universal Banker I)
• 1+ year in banking or 2+ years in customer service/cash-handling (Universal Banker II)
• 3+ years of banking experience; leadership and mentoring preferred (Universal Banker III)

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the bank: Greet customers, handle transactions, and make their day better.
• Solve problems like a pro: Assist with deposits, withdrawals, account management and loan payments.
• Build real relationships: Help customers plan, save, and succeed financially.

What You Bring to the Table

Universal Banker I

• 6+ months in cash-handling, retail, or hospitality

Universal Banker II

• 1+ year in banking OR 2+ years in customer service/cash-handling
• Degree in a related field can replace experience

Universal Banker III

• 3+ years of banking experience
• Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
• Able to run the branch in a pinch!
